PM, FM express grief over demise of Pope Benedict XVI

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed grief over the sad demise of Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI.

In a tweet on Saturday, the Prime Minister said he is deeply saddened to learn about the passing of the Pope. He said Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI would be mourned by millions around the world including in Pakistan.

Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has also expressed grief over the demise of Pope Benedict XVI.

In a tweet on Saturday, he said we are saddened to learn about the passing away of the Pope. He said we join our Christian compatriots and Catholics around the world in prayers for His Holiness at this time of mourning.
