Lahore, November 05, 2012 (PPI-OT): In the present scenario policing has become very difficult task and those who join this profession should keep themselves away from all types of scandals, corruption and malpractices so that they could achieve their goals and objectives successfully by promoting merit.
This was stated by Inspector General of Police Punjab, Mohammad Habib-ur-Rehman while addressing a delegation of under training ASPs including 01 Lady ASP. Addl: IG Punjab, Malik Khuda Bakhsh Awan, Ayddl: IG Welfare and Finance, Sarmad Saeed, Addl: IG Training, Mubarik Athar, DIG Special Branch, Shahid Hanif, AIG Training, Maqsood-ul-Hassan and SSP Internal Accountability Division Lahore, Shariq Kamal were attended the meeting.
Delegation was headed by Course Commander, DIG Asif Saif Ullah Paracha, SSP Tayyab Hafiz and DSP Azmat Abbas. Whereas, 04 ASPs from Punjab, 05 from Sindh, 01 from KPK, 02 from Islamabad, 01 from Gilgit Baltistan, and 05 from Balochistan were included in the delegation.
Provincial Police Chief stressed upon the officers that policing should not be considered as a bed of roses rather they should play their key role to fight crimes and to provide justice to the oppressed at their door steps.
The IGP said that provision of justice to a deserving and needful person is better than 60 years long worship. He further said that serving humanity is itself the biggest worship and the officers should always support truth and merit during their services so that the police image could be improved.
