Polling for eight reserved seats of AJKLA to be held in Muzaffarabad tomorrow

Polling for the eight reserved seats of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly (AJKLA) will be held in Muzaffarabad on Monday.

According to Election Commission, the polling will be held at the hall of the Legislative Assembly from 08:00 am till 02:30 pm.

Azad Jammu and Kashmir Election Commission has issued the list of 22 contesting candidates for the eight reserved seats.

Five seats are reserved for women, and one each for Ulema-o-Mashaikh, technocrats and overseas Pakistanis.

Ten candidates are in the run for five women reserved seats, while four each for Ulema-o-Mashaikh, Overseas Pakistanis, and Technocrats seat.

Meanwhile, the inaugural session of the newly elected Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly will be held on Tuesday, wherein the newly elected members of the house will take oath of their office.
