Srinagar, November 27, 2014 (PPI-OT): The Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Patron-in-chief, Aman Ullah Khan has said that the sham election in the occupied territory is only an eye wash to befool the international community.
Aman Ullah Khan in a statement issued in Srinagar said that every sane person could not understand the originality of the so-called elections being held under the barrel of about one million Indian forces deployed in Jammu Kashmir.
He said that that the Modi government, instead of fulfilling its international obligations about flood-hit Kashmiris, had put them in great despair and distress through the farce elections. But India should know that Kashmiris have not and will never sell out their freedom for these so-called elections, he added.
While praising the courage and valour of illegally detained JKLF Chairman, Mohammad Yasin Malik along with advocate Bashir Ahmad Butt, Master Sheikh Mohammad Afzal, Showkat Ahmad Bakhshi, Engineer Ghulam Rasool Dar Eidi, Siraj Ud Din Mir and others Aman Ullah Khan said that the oppressive measures could deter Kashmiris from perusing the path of freedom.
Meanwhile, the JKLF spokesman in a statement in Srinagar strongly condemned the raids of police on the residence of JKLF leader, Abdul Rashid Magloo and harassment of his family.
He said that police also arrested and tortured three senior activists of JKLF in Maisuma namely Ishfaq Hussain, Mohammad Aadil and Faisal Ahmad. These police actions have once again proved the fact that these elections are nothing but a police and army operation, the spokesman added.
