Karachi, May 15, 2012 (PPI-OT): Further to our Notice No. KSF/N-528 dated February 10, 2012 on the subject.
Nina industries Limited was issued notice on account of defaults of Listing No. 30 (1) (b) and 30 (1) (e) i.e. Non-holding of AGMs and Non-payment of Annual Listing Fee. In addition, the CDS eligibility of the company has also been revoked by the Central Depository Company of Pakistan Limited.
The company was required to rectify the above defaults within 90 Days i.e. upto May 10, 2012. The company vide letter dated May 10, 2012 also notified vide Notice No. KSE/N-2511 dated May 11, 2012 has provided the reasons of non-compliance with the request to allow extension in time to rectify the defaults by the end at of June 2012.
In view of above, the company has been allowed extension in time to fulfil the requirements of Listing Regulation No. 30 (1) within 60 Days i.e. July 9, 2012.
In case the company fails to fulfil the requirements of the Listing Regulations, the Exchange shall proceed to initiate further action including delisting of the company from the Exchange.
Trading in the shares of the company shall remain suspended in exercise of the powers vested in the Exchange under the Sub-section (7) of Section 9 of the Securities and Exchange Ordinance, 1969 and the Listing Regulations of the Exchange.
