Radio Pakistan’s Urdu Web Editor Muhammad Naseer Qureshi, who received serious injuries in a road accident a couple a days ago, succumbed to his wounds at a hospital in Islamabad on Thursday night.
His funeral prayer was offered at his native town in Dera Ismail Khan on Friday. A large number of people, including journalists and representatives from PBC News, attended the funeral prayers. He was laid to rest in Dera Ismail Khan.
Mr Naseer Qureshi remained associated with Radio Pakistan for fifteen years. Being a pioneer member of Radio Pakistan’s Social Media, he extended services to updating Urdu Website of National Broadcaster.
The entire PBC News staff express heartfelt condolences and commiserates with the bereaved family over the sad demise with the prayer that May Allah Almighty grant the departed soul higher status in Jannah.
