A high-level meeting, chaired by Punjab Law Minister Raja Basharat, was held in Lahore today (Saturday) to review the holding of cattle markets in the province on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.
The holding of the markets of sacrificial animals and the their SOPs were come under discussion.
Addressing the meeting, the Minister said that the recommendations were sent to the federal government for the holding of cattle markets outside of the city limits.
He advised the concerned officials to properly disseminate the SOPs for the cattle markets so as to aware the people.
He said that the buyers will be bound to wear masks and gloves to contain the spread of the coronavirus.
