In Sindh, 2.5 million people have been affected, crops standing over one million acres of the land and fifteen thousand villages have badly been affected in recent rains.
This was stated by Spokesman of Sindh government Barraister Murzaza Wahab in a press conference in Karachi on Tuesday.
He said that relief operation is underway in affected areas and requested for federal government’s help to compensate the affectees.
He hoped that development package announced by Prime minister Imran kahan will yield positive results and said that federal and provincial governments will work together to develop the city.
