Renowned historian, researcher and columnist Dr. Safdar Mahmood passes away

Renowned historian, researcher and columnist Dr. Safdar Mahmood passed away in Lahore on Monday.

He had graduated from Government College Lahore and served in Central Superior Services.

He wrote many books on history and politics. For his research work, he also received pride of performance.

Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the sad demise of Dr. Safdar Mahmood.

In a condolence message, he expressed sympathies with the bereaved family.

He prayed that may Allah Almighty rest the departed soul in eternal peace.
