Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov says Moscow’s military presence at Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant in Ukraine is a guarantee against “Chernobyl scenario”, referring to 1986 nuclear catastrophe.
Earlier, Foreign Ministry spokesman Ivan Nechaev had said that a U.N proposal to demilitarise area around the nuclear plant is unacceptable.
