Srinagar, February 18, 2014 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyet leader, Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai, has condemned the detention of three innocent Kashmiri youth under draconian law, Public Safety Act, at Srinagar Central Jail.
Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the youth, Younis Maqbool Ganai, Muhammad Rafiq Mir and Bilal Ahmed Dar, all residents of Chadoora area of Badgam, had been booked under the PSA on fake charges and lodged at Srinagar Central Jail. He also denounced the arrest of another youth of Humhama, Srinagar, by Indian police.
Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai maintained that through such tactics India could not subdue the liberation sentiment of the Kashmiri people. He demanded immediate release of all illegally detained Kashmiris.
