Seminar on Clean and Green Karachi

Karachi: MQM Coordination Committee member and Ex MNA Kanwar Khalid Younis said Quaid-e-Tehreek Altaf Hussain had by launching cleanliness drive in city in 1988 not only motivated workers but he also presented a practical example for citizens by personally taking part in the campaign which had been followed by all including members of senate, provincial and national assembly and common workers.

He expressed these views while speaking at a seminar on the subject of “Clean and Green Karachi” held in Civic Centre on Wednesday.

DCO Karachi Muhammad Hussain Syed, EDO Education Ibrahim Kunbhar, EDO Works and Services Altaf G. Memon, D.O Education Khurram Arif, officers, teachers and students of different schools were also present on this occasion.

Kanwar Khalid said cleanliness was a subject which needs brainstorming. Our teachers have a duty to teach the students about cleanliness so that they make it a habit in their life and present a practical example of it. The seminar was arranged by Education Department of city government.

DCO Karachi, EDO Education and D.O Education also addressed the seminar.
