Seven outlaws arrested, narcotics and illegal weapons seized

Islamabad: Islamabad Police have arrested seven persons from different areas of the city and recovered narcotics and illegal weapons from their possession, a police spokesman said here Friday.

According to details, Koral police nabbed Imran Maseeh and Ishaq Maseeh for having a total of 330 gram hashish while ASI Rafi Ullah from Bhara Kau police station nabbed Khawja Shafaat Anwar in possession of eight liquor bottles.

Sub-Inspector Muhammad Idrees from Tarnol police recovered 30 bore pistol, six rounds, two magazines from accused Tasawar Jameel. Sabzi Mani nabbed three persons identified as Javed, Bakhtiar Khan, Barkat Ali for having 30 bore pistol, 310 gram hashish and 80 gram heroin respectively.

SSP Islamabad Tahir Alam Khan has appreciated the performance of those police who nabbed these suspects and further directed all officials to intensify efforts against anti-social elements.
