Srinagar, March 24, 2016 (PPI-OT):In occupied Kashmir, illegally detained Secretary General of All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Shabbir Ahmad Shah has paid tributes to civilians killed in Pathribal fake encounter and Barakpora, Islamabad, on their 16th anniversaries. Five innocent civilians were killed in Pathribal and seven in Barakpora, by Indian forces.
Shabbir Ahmad Shah in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the memories of the gory incidents were still afresh in minds of Kashmiris and they would never forget such barbarism of Indian forces. Just before these killings, Indian forces carried out a massacre of Sikhs in Chattisinghpora in such 35 innocent persons were killed. He said India made a failed attempt to defame the Kashmiris’ freedom movement by perpetrating such bloody massacres on the arrival of the then US President Bill Clinton.
He said though Indian agency, CBI had confirmed that Indian forces were involved in the heinous crimes and provided evidence against them but not a single culprit had been brought to book. “Indian agencies claimed of having killed militants in a gunfight but after their graves were opened, everything became crystal clear as the slain turned out to be the civilians who were killed in a fake encounter. Shabbir Shah expressed solidarity with the families of the victims of these massacres and demanded fair investigation into these killings by an independent agency.
