Six outlaw arrested

Islamabad: Islamabad Police on Thursday arrested six persons including a woman for their alleged involvement in bootlegging, theft and also recovered 10 wine bottles, stolen items as well as weapons from their possession, a police spokesman said.

According to details, ASI Imran Haider from Kohsar police apprehended Asima Bibi and recovered looted items worth thousands of rupees. ASI Najeeb Ullah from Shalimar police station arrested a bootlegger Zaka Uddin for having 10 wine bottles while ASI Iqbal arrested Yaseen Khan for having 12 bore gun.

Sub-Inspector Muhammad Shafique from Nilore police station arrested an accused Aamir Javed for having 30 bore pistol while Sub-Inspector Muhammad Ashraf from Sihala police recovered Sultan Muhammad Khan for having 32 bore revolver.

Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them. SSP Islamabad Tahir Alam Khan has appreciated this performance and directed all policemen to intensify elements.
