Karachi: Advisor to Chief Minister Sindh on Media Ms. Sharmila Faruqui has said that terrorists have no religion. Having killed innocent people Anti State elements want to destroy the peace of Karachi but present democratic government with the help of the people and coalition partners will foil the ulterior motives of these anti state elements. This she said while visiting the home of slain sector member of Muttahida Qaumi Movement Mansoor Mukhtar and Maqsood Mukhtar and condoled. She also visited the house of office bearer Zain ul Abideen of ANP who was killed the other day.
She expressed her deep sorrow over his demise. She said that the residents of Karachi did not hate each other. They wanted to live with peace however some miscreants did not like the peace of Karachi and they wanted to create disturbance in the city. The people of Karachi would defeat them with their unity.
She added, ‘Present democratic government is in constant touch with its coalition partners and working to maintain law and order in Karachi and in this regard all stake holders are on board’. Sharmila Faruqui said that Karachi is economic hub of Pakistan and its progress is the progress of whole country.
She said that Karachi was the city of lights and we would bring back its glory and we could do this with our unity. On this occasion she said that Allah Almighty might bless the departed souls and give courage to the bereaved family to bear the loss.
