Turkiye keen to increase bilateral trade with Pakistan up to $5b

Türkiye has expressed the desire to increase bilateral trade with Pakistan up to five billion dollars.

Addressing the business community in Islamabad, Commercial Counsellor at Embassy of Türkiye, Nurettin Demir, said the two countries have good potential to increase the two-way trade volume in many items.

He said Turkiye and Pakistan can enhance bilateral cooperation in machinery and parts, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, tourism and agriculture.

Nurettin Demir was hopeful that a free trade agreement between the two countries would be finalized soon after its ratification from Turkish parliament that would help in increasing the volume of bilateral trade.
