Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan says he is working to resolve a hostage crisis between Russia and Ukraine to deescalate tensions between the two countries.
In an interview, Turkish President said he held very extensive discussions with Russian President Putin at a summit in Uzbekistan last week and gained the impression that the Russian president wants a speedy end to the war.
