Srinagar, November 14, 2014 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, APHC leader and the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir peoples League (JKPL), Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, has strongly condemned the cold-blooded murder of a teenage boy, Tariq Ahmad Butt, by Indian troops in Kulgam, today.
Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, who is under house detention in Islamabad town, in a statement said that the frustrated Indian troops fired upon peaceful protesters in Kulgam when they were peacefully demanding the bodies of two youth martyred by the troops in Chanigam village during a siege and search operation.
He said that the killing of Tariq Ahmad Butt was another glaring example of Indian state terrorism in the occupied territory.
“For the first time since 1947 Indian army’s court awarded sentence to its troopers for killing three innocent youth in a fake encounter but after hours they have again resorted to bloodshed which proves that the Indian Army had single agenda to kill Kashmiris,” he added.
Meanwhile a delegation of JKPL headed by Ahmadulllah participated in the funeral prayers of the martyred youth.
