Weight age examinations for the purpose of determining merit for admission to professional colleges

Peshawar: In pursuance of the decision of the 21st meeting of the Board of Governors (BOG) Educational Testing and Evaluation Agency (ETEA) held on May 24, 2011, the competent authority has approved the following amendments/additions in this department’s earlier notification Dated May 14, 2010 for the information of all concerned. That weight age to different examinations for the purpose of determining merit for admission to professional colleges with effect from the current year will be as follows: a) Entrance Test-50%, b) F. Sc or Equivalet-40% and c) S.S.C or Equivalent-10%. That there shall be no pass marks for the entry test and appearance in the entrance test will remain compulsory for admission to professional colleges, functioning in public as well as private sector. It was notified by the Higher Education Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
