23 martyred in Balochistan blasts


At least twenty three people were martyred and twenty nine injured in two separate bomb blasts near office of a political party and an independent candidate in Qillah Saifullah and Pishin districts of Balochistan today.

The injured have been shifted to nearby hospitals.

President Dr. Arif Alvi has strongly condemned the blasts in Pishin and Qilla Saifullah.

In a statement, Dr. Arif Alvi expressed grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives in the blasts.

Dr Arif Alvi condoled with the bereaved families and prayed for the departed souls.

Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar has strongly condemned the blasts in Pishin and Qilla Saifullah.

Expressing regret over the loss of lives in blasts, the Prime Minister instructed to provide immediate medical aid to the injured.

The Prime Minister sought the report of the incident from the Chief Secretary Balochistan.

He said the government is determined to conduct the general elections peacefully and any attempt to sabotage the law and order situation
will be thwarted.

Caretaker Provincial Home Minister Mir Zubair Jamali has strongly condemned the blast and sought report from Deputy Commissioner Pishin.

He also expressed deep grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives.
