Govt decides to take legal action against law perpetrators

The federal government has decided to use its powers against incidents of damaging government properties and buildings, violent activities and baseless allegations on state institutions.

The decision was taken during an important meeting presided by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Lahore on Saturday.

The forum decided that in the light of ISPR’s statement, legal action will be taken against the statements of Imran Khan and his colleagues against the state and institutions.

A committee consisting of constitutional and legal experts was formed to suggest legal actions.

Separate legal actions will be taken against people involved in burning and damaging Governor House Punjab and other government properties in different cities.

Further it was decided that legal action will also be taken against attacks by PTI leaders and workers on private property.
