Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar says ten cement factories have been established and twenty two NOCs are being issued for establishment of new cement factories in Punjab.
In a statement issued in Lahore on Saturday, Usman Buzdar said new cement factories will create employment opportunities for millions of people as well as backward areas will get economic development.
He said restrictions on the cement sector were lifted for promotion of construction sector in Punjab.
The Chief Minister said government is taking revolutionary measures in the mining sector to ensure better utilization of natural resources in the province.
