The Suki Kinari Hydropower project has achieved the dam capping, marking it entering a new construction stage.
According to a report of China Economic Net, the successful capping of the concrete dam on the Kunhar River would help advance the construction progress of the power station under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.
Terming the capping a key milestone, Chen Jiangbo, Deputy Manager of the 884-megawatt Suki Kinari Hydropower project attributed the achievement to the joint efforts made by the Chinese and Pakistani constructors despite multiple challenges.
