The Chief Court Gilgit Baltistan has directed relevant departments to pay 25 percent special pay to the employees serving in the region from 2017.

The Divisional bench of the chief court comprising Chief Judge, Justice Malik Haq Nawaz and Member Justice Ali Baig announced the judgement.

The court also directed to pay the arrears within next three months after arrangement of requisite funds.

The Provincial Disaster Management Authority of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has released more than one hundred and eighty million rupees as compensation for distribution among registered families of North Waziristan district.

According to the Director General PDMA, the amount will be transferred to the accounts of fifteen thousand two hundred and twenty-nine families through Sim Cards within two days.

The government is providing cash assistance of twelve thousand rupees besides monthly ration to the terror affected families of the area who have not yet repatriated to the areas.

Pakistan Railways will launch a tourist train to promote tourism in Balochistan today (Saturday).

The Divisional Transport Officer Pakistan Railway Ibrahim Baloch told Radio Pakistan Quetta correspondent that the tourist train will run two days in a week on Saturday and Sunday between Bostan and Kolpur stations.

The train will stop at Baleli, Kuchlak, Bostan, Quetta, Sariab, Spezand and Kolpur railway stations.

Sindh government has initiated to establish Hepatitis screening vaccination camps across the province.

This was stated by the Incharge “Chief Minister Hepatitis free Sindh Programme” additional Director Ali Akber Dahri in Nawabshah.

He said that the programme has been launched on the special instructions of Health Minister Dr. Azra Fazal Pechuho for which Hepatitis Screening vaccination camps are being established and focal persons have also been deputed at all the districts.

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has said that free health insurance will be provided to the entire population in the province.

In a statement, he said that 66 percent increase has been made in the development budget and a composite roadmap of genuine development has been introduced in the province.

The Chief Minister said that parliamentarians were consulted to finalize the Annual Development Programme and 25 billion rupees have been allocated for completion of mega projects.

Sardar Usman Buzdar said, in the past, development was only shown on papers, but the incumbent PTI government believes in taking practical steps to ensure indiscriminate development of all areas of the province.
